Is there more than one database in the storage group? If so, it complicates
things a bit. If not, you can move all the log files out of the directory
into another one if you want to keep them, or delete them. Then mount the
store. When you mount the store, take a good backup right away.

So you replicated the database in any of the possible ways and in the time of disaster you started this one node cluster with replicated database, with same Exchange name, IP address, etc. Maybe the logic behind Exchange 2007 is different a controlled switch. = Contoso, Ltd. has two datacenters: a primary datacenter referred to as = Active Directory SITEA and a second backup datacenter referred to as = Active Directory SITEB. Exchange Server Can't mount or delete database in Recovery Storage Group I restored a database to the RSG to try and recover a purged mailbox using ex-merge, not knowing the technote "How to recover a purged mailbox from an online backup using the original database server". I tried to run eseutil / mh on the database but received a file in use error. At this point, I can neither mount or delete the database in System Manager. I get an error saying "The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is in a couple days during a maintenance window. What should I do to get this database online? Check this link to see if it helps http: / / support.microsoft.com / kb / 313184 my problem is within the RSG. Is there anyway to either delete or mount this database without shutting down the store service and taking down my production databases?
