Hi,
Exchange 2003 single server and Outlook 2007 clients here.
We have a bunch of contacts in a public folder. If we type an office phone
number in the search box the result is there. But if we type the fax number
it does not find it. Is there any way to make the fax number field
searchable ?
BTW I tried with Outlook 2010 beta and it does not work either.
Thanks.

I have been doing Exchange peer support for nearly 15 years and I have never
heard that asked for before. The only way I know to do that is with an LDAP
query tool like LDP or a custom script, sorry.

It is for the girl at accounts payables. She received the bill for a phone
line and she wanted to know where this line was located. She searched for
the phone number in our "internal contacts" folder and she got no results;
it happened to be a fax line at a remote branch.
Thanks anyway.

Exchange 2007 Archiving not working for outlook 2010 users Exchange Server I have got Exchange 2007 on a single server. Under Org Config I have a journaling rule setup to journal every email to a certain mailbox. This works great except for users on outlook 2010. When you log into the archive mailbox, most users emails are included as attachments as expected, but outlook 2010 users messages have only a "corrupt.eml" as the attachment, not the original email. Outlook 2007 Prompting for Password Exchange Server I'm setting up a Windows Server 2008 / Exchange 2007 SP1 lab, and running into a couple of challenges. My DC is Windows 2008, almost on it, default install options. I have another 2008 server acting as the client with Outlook 2007 installed on it. When I open Outlook 2007 for the first time after setting up the Exchange profile, it always prompts me for with the auto discovery service or OAB. If I cancel this prompt, I can use Outlook just fine. When I schedule a new calendar event, I can't see any free
