Rule for forwarding mail

Asked By Rajiv K Khandelwal

I applied a rule for forwarding mail and observed that the mail will only be
forwarded to another mail within the organization and not outside it. Is
there a work around for this.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi there,

You created the rule in Outlook? it is always best to mention Exchange Server
version and SP level when posting too.

This is a known limitation - have you considered using backend forwarding?

This is an older tutorial but the same methodology applies

Thanks Oliver for your response. I am using Exchange 2007 as a part of SBS
2008 and am trying to apply the rules via the OWA and not Outlook. Saw a
similar post in this group but it applied for Exchange 2000 and 2003. There
was no mention for Exchange 2007.
