I ran eseutil on our data store this past weekend. After I mounted
the data store, I found that I could no longer delete or move any of
the items in my inbox. When I try to delete/move I get the following
error:
access was denied"
I am able to delete new items that come into my inbox.
I took my data store offline again and ran isinteg -fix -test alltests
but it found no issues.
I have tried using mdbvu32 to delete the emails, or to delete my inbox
and create a new one, but it did not work or I am doing it wrong (do I
have to run it on the Exchange server? If so, it will not let me open
the user mailbox when I am logged in as administrator).
As far as I know, I am the only person in the office who was affected.
Other suggestions?
it is Exchange Server 2003.
