Exchange Server - A Question on LUNs
Asked By Alan Dougherty

We have read that we plan on using CCR each database has to have its
own LUN. Does this mean we could have a huge RAID array and, in this
case, LUN means its own partition?

Not a partition, but a physical disk or a representation of a physical disk
provided by a hardware controller.

Windows Server 2008 Cluster Exchange Server I'm reading the article(http: / / msexchangeteam.com / archive / 2008 / 03 / 05 / 448338.aspx) by Scott Schnoll. I'm curious about windows 2008 multi-subnet failover cluster bandwidth requirement. If deploy CCR with Windows 2008 multi-subnet cluster, how many bandwidth is requirement between 2 CCR Node? failover for Exchange 2007 Exchange Server Hi, I am looking for a technical solution to have a failover for our Exchange server. See below our infrastructure. Site A located in New York, Exchange 2003 running on W2003 st ed R2 sp2, domain windows 2003. Site B (backup site) located in LA. Sites A (subnet A:10.10.2 3.0) are connected each other to a private circuit. They are on the same Windows domain. We want to migrate to Exchange 2007 sp1, std or entreprise ed ? which features in order to get a failover system of exchange services? Do we need MSCS on windows 2003? do we have to migrate to W2008 server? etc. . . . . Thanks a lot for your feedback Thomas.
