I want to move my users from non-clustered exchange 2003 to clustered
exchange server 2003.So, on active and passive nodes, what type of
installation i need to perform.
Do i need to select Deploy First Exchange 2003 Servers or Deploy Exchnage
2003 On Additonal Servers.Bear in mind i already have exchange 2003 running
in non-clustered mode.
On Virtual Server 2005 R2, after configuring clustering, i selected Deploy
First Exchange 2003 Server on Active node. After installation, i opened System
Manager on Active node, it shows console of exchange running on standalone
machine.
So, i am a bit confused as to how perform installation on clustered exchange
server.

Hi,

You will need both Windows 2003 Enterprise (for clustering support) and
Exchange 2003 Enterprise.

Here's some decent informaton/guides:

I already configured cluster in VS 2005..what i am asking is that during
installation on active node/passive node of cluster do i need to select
Deploy First Exchagne Server or Deploy Exchange on Additional Server.
Standalone Exchange Server and Clustered Exchange are both in same forest.
I want to move users from non-clustered exchagne server to clustered
exchange server.

You are not deploying your first Exchange Server. You've already done that.

i have already exchange 2003 running in same forest in standalone mode. i
want to move users from standalone to clustered exchange server 2003.
I have already setup cluster service for active/passive node. NOw, during
installation on active node, do i need to select "install Exchange on
Additional Server".
During EVS instance in cluster adminstrator tool, it asks for where to place
EVS, do i need to put in same RG or different RG.

You should probably read up on this stuff before attempting anything
further.

Best way to learn MS Exchange Exchange Server It seems that Exchange is almost essential for anyone looking for an IT job at the moment, unfortunately we good feel of how it all works or is it worth investing in a cheap server from eBay, if so can anyone recommend something I could pick up for around £100 (US $150)? Also any good Exchange book recommendations would be appreciated? The E2K7 server is fully online and all mailboxes, journaling, public folders, OWA, and SMTP traffic are going to the new E2K7 server. All connectors have been removed between the two server and as far as I can tell the new E2K7 server is handeling all mail

Exchange 2007 CCR after reseeding storage group copies Exchange Server We have an Exchange 2007 CCR cluster that sits on two Windows Server 2008 Enterprise nodes.
