Exchange Server - Patching Exchange 2007 CCR

We have implemented and Exchange 2007 environment with CCR and our coming to
our first server patch cycle.  We have read about how to manually patch
Exchange 2007 CCR, but are wondering if there is anyway to automate the
process.

Currently, we use WSUS to distribute patches to the servers.  Has anyone
tried automating the monthly patching process for Exchange 2007 or know of
information on how to do this?

I cannot imagine anyone wanting WSUS deciding when to fail over their
cluster.
