Hi, I hope somebody could provide some assistance on the following
question. Is the following a supported microsoft setup for SCR, i.e
can you enable SCR with the following setup?

UK - AD Site: ukcompany.local
UKExcSrvA - Mailbox Role
UKExcSrvB - HT & CAS Roles

USA - AD Site: usacompany.local
USAExcSrvA - Mailbox Role
USAExcSrvB - HT & CAS Roles

UK & USA sites are connected via a high speed 100mb WAN connection.
ukcompany.local and usacompany.local AD domains have a trust
established. Both are native 2003 domains. To save money the customer
does not wish to install Exchange enterprise.

Many Thanks
Clinton

A trust relationship "established"? That says differemt forests.
If they are in a single forest then you did not need to mention anything
about trusts and there is nothing to stop you putting an SCR target in
a different domain.
If they are in two forests then you cannot SCR between them.

As Mark says,

if ukcompany.local and usacompany.local are two Domains in a single Forest
then that is fine.

However in this case they are not, they are two seperate Forests - so it is
not possible.
