Hi
I need to move my files from a server running Outlook Exchange to MS Office
Outlook 2007. I have done it before from MS Office Outlook 2003 to another
machine using MS Office Outlook 2003 using a *.pst file. What is the
procedure I need to follow please to move from Outlook Exchange to MS Office
Outlook 2007.
Thanks
Grandad

If using Exchange, the mail is stored on the server, so there is nothing to
move.

Hi Martin
I need to take the relevant files (email folders) from a network PC or
wherever they are stored and put them on a new stand alone PC not connected
to a network. I just want to keep all my previous emails and address book
etc. I hope that helps.

Mick

Then you need the PST file to take with you.
If you can tell me the following, Ill try to tell you where to find them.
Old PC:
Windows Version and Outlook Version
New PC:

Hi Martin
I have found the relevant files which were *.ost. I also found a program to

Thanks for you offer of help.

There is no difference - you can export your mailbox to a PST file in
Outlook. Use File | import/export wizard.

No need to do anrything w/OST files if you can still open the mail profile,
even offline - you just export directly to PST.
Outlook access with Exchange 2003 and 2007 coexisting Exchange Server I have managed to add Exchange 2007 SP2 into my existing Exchange 2003 SP2 configuration, and can access mailboxes on either server using Outlook Web Access. However, I can only access mail on one server or the other from Outlook 2007 clients. The server I can access depends on which server I forward ports to on

SBS 2008, Exchange 2007 & Outlook 2007. . . Exchange Server Sorry for the cross-posting, but I am hoping someone out there will have an answer for me. Last weekend, I completed a migration from a 2003 SBS to a 2008 SBS. A few glitches here & there, but one of the major problems is users at a remote office cannot get their email now using Outlook 2007. It worked fine with Exchange 2003, but not Exchange 2007 - why? I have been on the Technet forums & last I was

WHy doesn't Outlook Live sync the calendar like it does in our own Exchange server Exchange Server Good afternoon, We are currently migrating our users from our onsite EX2007 server to hosted Exchange (Outlook Live / Live@Edu). One thing that is different with Exchange Live over Outlook 2007 is that calendars are not synced immediately like they are in the EX2007 server that synced with the server immediately. It usually happens when the next time comes around for Outlook to sync with the server, which I think happens every 10 minutes or so. But if you log on to the Outlook Live website and use Outlook Web App to change the calendar, it syncs the changes immediately. This is a fairly people working on the same calendar they will not get the same version as what Outlook has locally on the computer until it syncs back with the server. There are commercial
