Problem sending PDF's.

I have got an access program that uses VB code to allow me to send serial
e-mails through my mail server. I can send e-mails without problem, I can
even include attachments; except when I try to send .pdf attachments. When I
try to do that, The e-mail goes out, but it does not include the attachment,
and it adds a block of random characters to the bottom of the e-mail. I am
getting reports from recipients that when they try to open the e-mails it
causes their computer to have issues.

I have been running some tests, and I am down to thinking that it is something
to do with how my e-mail server is handling PDF files as attachments. I have
some, but limited, experience with server/exchange management, so I was
wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on things/setting to check
for potential problems. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Can you use OWA to send one of these PDF attachments to anyone?

Can you use OWA to send one of these PDF attachments to anyone? That will
tell you whether Exchange itself is having problems.

What about a POP or IMAP client configured to relay through the Exchange box
for SMTP?

You have not mentioned your version or SP levels of anything - remember to do
that as it can make a huge difference.
