Exchange Server - License Question
Asked By MarkH on 08-Mar-10 02:38 PM
New to Exchange Server so I have this basic question.
If we purchase Exchange Server, is there isome yearly renewal license that
we will need to renew so that all functions will continue to work?
I am asking because we currenly have icewarp and it works like that.

Although you should never ask licensing questions in this kind of
forum I can tell you that there is no annual fee under normal
circumstances. However, if you are part of a large organization that
has a particular direct arrangement (i.e hand over several million
dollars a year, 18 virgins and several first born) with Microsoft then
you are ok.

What my esteemed colleague Mark meant to say was that nobody on this forum
is authorized to quote licensing terms on behalf of Microsoft. You should
consult the Exchange licensing webpage, your Microsoft representative or
reseller.

I prefer the first born and virgins thing.

Probably more likelihood of success there.
