I would like to know if anyone has a procedure set for migrating an existing
2003 Exchange Server onto a New 2003 Exchange Server?

We are changing our hardware and updating, but keeping the OS and Server
Side software the same.

why not just perform a disaster recovery? Just make sure you copy the log
files and the information store. After you do the disaster recovery you will
just need to copy back those files.

Exchange Server 2003 Migration to Different Hardware Exchange Server I have got a customer network w / 10 Windows 2003 servers all of which are DCs (not my idea). The Exchange Server 2003 is still running on Windows 2000 DC Pentium III system. No FSMO or GC role is on this server. I want to migrate the Exchange to a new server and retire this system. What makes this migration tricky is the
Microsoft Exchange 2007 and port 80? Exchange Server I have a client that is using Microsoft Exchange 2007 server for their email. They recently decided to add a new web server to their office and host their public web site themselves. About 2 weeks ago I installed the web server, setup IIS, and logged into the router. The router has an option called virtual server and it was forwarding traffic from port 80 to the Exchange server (users were logging
Replaced Main Server Exchange Server Hi, A while ago I had a mainserver (let us call it the "oldserver") as the exchange server (2003) was part of this domain, was a domain controller and worked fine with this setup. Just a short while ago I added a new Server (let us call it "newserver") and made it the Global catalog with all the FSMO every once in a while. ( I suspect a hardware issue). I never removed the old server because I use it as a utility server and want to make sure everything is working fine before redoing this server. Now, every

Upgrading from exchange 2003 to 2007 Exchange Server I have few questions or advice on upgrading from exchange 2003 to exchange 2007. Our setup is that we are running a windows 2003 native domain with one domain. We have 2 exchange 2003 servers running in one organisation. I want to now upgrade to exchange 2007. I will do this by setting up a new server and installing exchange 2007 into the existing organisation we have setup. My question is what
